Congratulations 2019 Timberline High School Graduates!

This is the image for the news article titled Congratulations 2019 Timberline High School Graduates!On Monday, May 20, 2019, family, friends, educators and other supporters gathered at Taco Bell Arena on the campus of Boise State University to celebrate the graduation of 429 seniors from Timberline High School. 

"Timberline High School has a tradition of being, first and foremost, a strong academic public high school," explained Principal Ted Hettinga during last night's ceremony. "Timberline has been recognized as a top school by U.S. News and World Report and for the 19th year in a row by the Washington Post.  The class of 2019 has successfully maintained the high standard that was set forth by the previous 20 graduating classes."

Sofia Edgar
Meet Timberline High School 2019 Graduate Sofia Edgar. She credits Boise School District educators and staff for preparing her to succeed in the future. Thanks to Les Bois Junior High School Biology Teacher Mr. Robert Bowman she says she was taught the power of citizen science and investigative questioning. She says without this knowledge she might not have had the initiative to build a weather station and take data with it in Antarctica. In the fall, Sofia will attend Bates College in Lewiston, Maine to study Engineering and the Violin.





Bradley Funkhouser
Meet Timberline High School 2019 Graduate Bradley Funkhouser. He credits his teachers and coaches for making his life better and teaching him to socialize so he can pursue his passion for fly fishing and become a global guide. He is heading to the University of Idaho to study Fisheries Biology.

Sean Halford

Meet Timberline High School 2019 Graduate Sean Halford. He credits Boise School District educators and staff for preparing him to succeed in  college and in life. This fall, he plans to attend the Honors Program at the University of Arizona, Tucson to double major in Astronomy & Physics. His career goal is to become an astrophysicist and work for NASA.
