I am Natasha Bortz. I am excited to be teaching in the dual language program (Spanish classroom) at Whitney Elementary! I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Bilingual Elementary Education from Boise State University, and I am currently pursuing my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an Emphasis in Bilingual Education from the College of Idaho. I love working with children, and I have had experience working in a variety of classroom settings, including dual language, ELL, and traditional classrooms. I also spent three months working at an orphanage as well as teaching  in Ecuador. This is my third year teaching in the Spanish 1st grade classroom. I love teaching in general, and I especially love teaching in Spanish!

Me llamo Natasha Bortz. ¡Estoy emocionada de enseñar en el programa de lenguaje dual (clase de español) en Whitney Elementary! Me gradué de la Universidad de Boise State con un título de Educación Bilingüe. Actualmente, estoy estudiando en el Colegio de Idaho para mi maestría en Currículo e Instruccion con un Énfasis en Educación Bilingüe. A mi me encanta trabajar con ninos, y he trabajado en clases de ELL, clases tradicionales, y clases de lenguage dual. También pasé tres meses en Ecuador trabajando en un orfanato y enseñando. Este es mi tercer año de enseñar primer grado en la clase de español. A mi me encanta enseñar, y especialmente me encanta enseñar en español!
